Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RSS Education AI Platform ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Application.

2. Authorized Use

This Application is intended for use by authorized school teachers and administrators only. Access is granted by an application administrator and may be revoked at any time. You must be an approved user to access the Application's features.

3. Google Account Integration

The Application uses Google Sign-In for authentication and requests read-only access to Google Drive, Google Classroom courses, coursework, and rosters. By signing in with Google, you authorize the Application to access these services as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.

4. AI-Assisted Content

The Application uses artificial intelligence to help organize, transform, and surface your existing teaching materials and curriculum data. While we strive for accuracy and quality:

• AI-assisted output is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by the teacher before use
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any output
• Teachers retain professional responsibility for all materials used in their classrooms
• All output should align with school policies and curriculum standards

5. AI Usage Policy

All use of AI tools within this Application is governed by the 5-Question Accountability Framework. Users are expected to apply this framework to all AI-assisted output and report any safety concerns to the application administrator.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
• Use the Application for any purpose other than educational content creation
• Attempt to circumvent safety measures or content filters
• Use the Application to produce inappropriate, harmful, or misleading content
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract proprietary components of the Application

7. Intellectual Property

Content you create using the Application is yours to use for educational purposes. The Application itself, including its design, code, and AI configurations, is the property of RIOS Strategic Solutions.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. RIOS Strategic Solutions is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Application or AI-assisted content. Teachers are responsible for reviewing and approving all materials before classroom use.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
